What are EyCatchers?
EyCatchers
are house and/or lawn ornaments that reflect light with a
"strobe light" effect when turned by the wind. They are made
from 18 gauge laser-cut steel, powder paint coated and
hand-bent.
How do I display my
EyCatchers?
For best viewing your EyCatchers
need to be located down-sun from your viewing location. The
best display is the "shepherd hook" holders sold at lawn and
garden centers for holding plants, hummingbird feeders, etc.
Some people are using the small EyCatchers
as light-pulls on their ceiling fans. Just a note:
EyCatchers
work great at night too. A back yard spotlight really causes
them to light up!
How do I care for my
EyCatchers?
Like any painted metal product, EyCatchers
should be kept away from rain and sprinkler exposure to the
extent possible to prevent corrosion. It is helpful to
occasionally apply a thin coating of WD-40 or other light oil to
the EyCatchers
and the attaching swivel to protect the finish.
Do you have retail locations?
Not at this time. We occasionally show EyCatchers
at craft and trade shows in the North-Central Texas area.
Are there plans for any additional designs or colors?
Designs and colors are added and discontinued periodically.
